The musical was always supposed to air before the season finale but that obviously got changed. hahaha So originally Nip & Suck it was going to be episode 13, the musical was going to be episodes 14 & 15 and then No Trout About It was and still is episode 16. lol

WHO gets fired: Shawn & Gus.

WHO gets suspended for 6 months: Chief Vick

WHO gets demoted: Carlton Lassiter

WHY do they get fired, suspended & demoted? Because of a man named Harris Trout. At the end of the episode, he’s the SBPD’s newest interim Chief. *gasp* :p

So that raises the question…since Lassiter got demoted does that mean that O’Hara will become Head Detective? Will Shawn & Gus get rehired? Only season 8 will have those answers!

when the musical comes out, how long is it and where can i find it?

If James Roday says it's the end, then it's the end. These guys only had contracts through seasons 1 to 7 they then signed on to do a limited season 8. The cast has no contractual obligations with USA Network after that so if Roday want's to call it a day the show cannot continue. I am also sure that Roday told Maggie that he was done after S8 and 'cause of short episode order she decided to audition for another show. It got picked up and that's when James announced it. It was no coincidence.

Okay, I see your point, I do but until the NETWORK confirms it, I’m not ready to confidently say that season 8 will be the last season even though Roday said it would be. But anyway, you could be right, maybe it wasn’t a coincidence but again, until it is completely and ultimately confirmed by the network, I’m not ready to give up on the fact that there could be more Psych beyond season 8. :)

Alright so I've been seeing a lot of people speculating about whether or not the Shawn and Juliet reuniting scene is in the musical episode. The problem with the theory is, the musical episode was supposed to originally be episode 14/15 which would place it after Office Space AND Dead Air AND Nip and Suck it which means there would still be this "are they back together" feeling after Dead Air. The reunion is probably the next episode or the finale.

I have a theory about something. The reason the Shules reunion was lackluster was probably because the actual one is in the musical that USA network decided to not air in order. The lyrics of the song that they sang at the USA Upfronts has Juliet still mad at Shawn and Shawn still wondering if she is going to tell! Probably why they cut all the lovey dovey parts because it would have explained them in the musical, but once they found out it would not air in order, they removed them.

Am I the only one who can't wait for Back in the Game to premiere? It looks amazing! I LOVE Maggie in Psych but if season 8 is the last I'm happy she's making it.

In an interview James Roday made the comment that Phsych would do something never seen before in the history of television? Would you know or have any idea what this could be? I was just thinking it might be a wedding between Jules and Shawn but in reality it's a REAL wedding between James and Maggie. Just a thought.
